Why iFeely Is the Best App for Long-Distance Couples
I built iFeely, so I'm biased. Every couples app says it brings you closer, so instead of adjectives, here's proof you can check yourself.
1. It's Alive
Most couples apps feel like a chat app with hearts on it. iFeely lives where you already look: your partner's mood sits on your Home Screen, your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and changes the moment they tap. Doodles appear on their widget while you draw them. When you both pick the same feeling at the same time, the app notices and celebrates it with you.
2. New Features Every Week. Literally.
Here's the last week and a bit:
- October 11: version 2.0. A new look, the question of the day, widgets and Dynamic Island you can use without opening the app, invite links, and German, Spanish and French.
- October 18: version 2.1. Doodles you draw for your partner and they watch appear live on their widget, a new Spark editor with stickers and filters, Sparks you can lock until their morning, and a step battle that keeps score every day.
- October 20: version 2.2. A flight tracker, so your partner watches your plane come closer on their Lock Screen with takeoff and landing alerts. A widget with both your clocks. And walking together: a shared daily step goal and a map where your steps draw a trail until you meet.
- Next: version 2.3. Our month, a monthly recap of your moods, syncs and doodles as story pages, with a 6-second video to share. Melodies, a tiny piano to play your partner a tune. And On my way: share when you'll arrive and they get a countdown on their Lock Screen.
Three versions in nine days, and the next one is already built. Every one of them is on the public changelog, with dates, and what's next is on the roadmap. If an app stops updating, you'll see it. I'd rather you hold me to it.
3. A Community, Not Just an App
Long distance is easier when you know you're not the only ones doing it. Follow iFeely on Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest for date ideas, couple stats and the little things that make the distance smaller. Ideas from couples go straight onto the roadmap.
4. Seasonal Moments
Special days feel special in iFeely. Anniversaries, monthiversaries and round day counts are celebrated for both of you, and on days like your anniversary and Valentine's Day, Premium is free for the day. Seasonal mood packs and seasonal couple challenges are on the roadmap.
5. Support from the Person Who Builds It
I started iFeely while I was in a long-distance relationship myself (here's the story). Email support@ifeely.app and you'll hear back from me, not a bot, within 24 hours. That's a promise on our support page.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best app for long-distance couples?
It depends on what you need. If you want to feel close between calls, iFeely is built for exactly that: you share your mood in one tap and see your partner's on your Home Screen, Lock Screen and Dynamic Island, answer a daily question together, send Doodles and Sparks, celebrate milestones and battle on steps. It ships new features almost every week (versions 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 came out within nine days, and 2.3 is next), with a public changelog and roadmap, and support replies within 24 hours. One subscription covers both partners.
Is there an app to follow my partner's flight?
Yes. iFeely has a flight tracker for couples: add your flight and your partner watches it come closer on their Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, with takeoff and landing alerts. With Premium you just type the flight number for the live position and delays.
Does iFeely work on Android?
Not yet. iFeely is for iPhone with iOS 18.6 or later, and an Android app is on the public roadmap as coming soon.
Do both partners need to pay for iFeely?
No. One subscription covers both partners.
How do I contact iFeely support?
